Monika Christodoulou, known as Monica or Monika, is a Greek singer-songwriter. Her first album "Avatar" was released in 2008 and the second "Exit" followed in 2010. Both albums became platinum. Monika has given many sold out concerts in important places such as the small theater of Ancient Epidaurus, the Vrahon Theater, the Lycabettus Theater, and the ARK Festival of Athens and Thessaloniki for two consecutive years (2010 and 2011). Her two albums were remarkably reviewed and commercially accepted, with the majority of Greek media announcing her, 'the new hope of the Greek music scene'. In January 2013 she co-created the musical "Primal", based on her two personal albums which went up for 5 nights at the Onassis Foundation's Center for the Arts and Letters. At the same time, EP "Primal" was released with the 5 songs of the show and the Christmas "Dreaming Of This Year" as a bonus track. Equally important has been her acting as a composer and producer of musical works for the theater.
