Mop Mop is the brainchild of Berlin-based Italian multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Andrea Benini. He has been active for more than ten years exploring a large variety of musical genres. Anyone familiar will already know that their refined postmodern style allowed the band to achieve the international film business as part of Woody Allen‘s “To Rome With Love“ soundtrack. Rooted in jazz, yet incessantly seeking to widen the genre’s scope, embarking into funk, afrobeat and more exotic terrain, Mop Mop’s newest feat “Lunar Love“ promises to live up to global expectations. With “Lunar Love“ Mop Mop continue their journey through musically wide open spaces and places. Refining their sound even more, creating an unique and deep atmosphere based on the idea of traditional Gnawa rhythms mixed with a heavy dub-jazz-funk pulse. Back in 2013, Pueblo Franco & The Mighty Scoop joined forces almost accidentally in order to provide the tunes for a thirsty -for fun- crowd in a hot spot in Nicosia. By the end of the night they realized that there was an outstanding connection between them. Since then, they have worked together several times with a single goal of providing the ultimate dance experience. Combining two different musical backgrounds, the duo managed to mix the best of both and the end result is a sum of sets that are compiled by a wide range of music genres. Invoking the Mexican Gods of Tequila, these two gents guarantee to make those feet of yours dancing like there’s no tomorrow. And as a wise man once said, the only pair that probably clicks more than these two is burger and fries.

Here goes a little something like this. Chris Blenda is the kind of DJ that has earned such an introduction to his story. His music influences start at home when he was too young to realise what he was listening but understood it completely at the same time. Around 1993 Chris was introduced to Salonika's, his home town, nightlife which opened his mind to a whole new world. He kept up with everything that was happening with no prejudice towards music genres based on an innate feeling that all should be listened to in order to truly know where his passion laid. Come 1998 he started experimenting with professional cd-players. That went on for two years until he caught his first break, performing at a local lounge bar. Since then he has had gigs and residencies around Greece and since 2005 all over the island of Cyprus where he resides permanently. There the crowd has encountered him at numerous places and events.

Michalis is a Cyprus-born architect, artist and musician. His work lies in the intermediate space between design, kinetic engineering and sound art. Kyklophonon, (an instrument of his own, which he is presenting at Φάρμα Projekt this year), is one of the works that best represent the interplay between these disciplines as an originally designed peculiar object that combines basic mechanical principles with freely suspended sliding strings to stand both as a musical instrument and a kinetic sculpture. Mr.Pakman is one of the many personalities of Christos Georgiou. He can hardly call him self a Dj but playing music lets him express his inner soul. He is addicted to break beats, mostly funky breaks, dub, instrumental hip hop and trip hop. A good saxophone solo gives him the same satisfaction as good sex. His favorite quote is "Everything is fucked up as usual" but then again "everything is funked up as usual"
